We want everyone to be able to read the menus, see Mica's food and plan an event with Mica's Shack, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard, and the booking steps can be completed without a mouse.
- Text meets contrast guidelines against its background, and resizes to 200% without loss.
- The turning dish gallery and the moving menu card are decoration: screen readers get the same dishes and menus as text, and they stop moving when your device asks for reduced motion.
- No gallery takes over scrolling; each can also be moved with its arrow buttons.
- Music never plays unless you turn it on.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. The "Ask Mica" helper works with a keyboard and closes with Escape.
Known limits
Payment fields are provided by our payment provider inside their own frames, and their accessibility is theirs to maintain. If any part of booking is difficult to use, call or email and we will book you directly.
Tell us
If something on the site gets in your way, please email or call . We reply within two business days, and we will book you by phone in the meantime.
